Geranyl nitrile to be phased out in 2007
In accordance with the 41st Amendment to the IFRA Code of Practice the use of geranyl nitrile in new and existing fragrance compounds will be prohibited in accordance with standard IFRA protocol as follows:
- 1 month after the date of the letter of notification for new submissions
- 13 months after the date of the letter of notification for existing fragrance compounds
