Florachem has built excellent long-term alliances with suppliers all over the world. These relationships have strengthened over time, through cycle after cycle, year after year. And they allow us to give our customers accurate, reliable appraisals of changing market situations. In the event of inevitable shortages or high prices, we have the ability to find alternatives or extenders to save customers money while assuring availability.
Our citrus business is sourced in Florida, California, Texas, Mexico and Brazil. Because of the differences in the growing seasons between the northern and southern hemispheres, we can maintain a steady supply of materials year ’round even with outside influences such as weather and pests. As a result, we have become one of the world’s largest citrus suppliers.
Our pine-chemicals supply chain is based primarily in China, but we have sources throughout South America, United States, Scandinavia, and other countries within the Asia-Pacific region. We supply dimer acids, rosin and rosin esters, pine oil, tall-oil fatty acids, dipentene, turpentine and other solvent chemicals.
